Details:
IowaTechno’s Colin Cook delivers three distortion-infused machine rhythms in “Salvatore”, an EP which shows the industrial-minded producer coupling elements of his signature sound design with new focuses on atmospheric textures and hypnotic melody lines. Philadelphia-based Monix steps in to give the title track an overdriven, broken-beat remix treatment with just as much intensity as the original. Both of these producers share like-minded approaches to creating raw and heavy techno through hardware-based workflows, so we’re pleased to present the product of their collaboration with this EP. Expect nothing less than pure, unadulterated grit that targets the peak hour.
